Carol Mauel, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. H.B. Mauel Jr., left Wednesday for Durham, North Carolina and will attend one semester of school as an exchange student.

Mr. and Mrs. Stuart Gerhardt and daughter Justine and Janelle visited at the A.W. Gerhardt home and with Mr. and Mrs. Hughes at Neillsville from Monday through Thursday of last week, when they returned to their home in Portage.

The Marshfield Campers gathered at Snyder Park west of Neillsville over the weekend and enjoyed good weather and music by Bill Warns and other from Marshfield. Among the campers from this are were the following families: Bill Warns, Harold Wendt, Dan Arola, Tony Hennlich, Norman Meinhardt, George Sorenson, Orland Woodbeck, Allen Niemi.

Mr. and Mrs. Eddie Wendt and son Eddie Ray enjoyed a weekend drive to Three Oaks, Michigan, where they visited the home of Mrs. Wendt's sister, Mr. and Mrs. George Thatcher.

Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Luke and children of Libertyville, Illinois, are enjoying this week vacation here and visiting with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Paul Fricke.
