Legion to Celebrate 100 years (Ann. – 2019)
One hundred years after Congress incorporated the American Legion, there will be
a celebration commemorating that moment.
American Legion Post 73, 6 Boon Boulevard, Neillsville, will celebrate this
Monday, March 4, at 4:30 p.m.
“The community is invited to help celebrate and also honor our veterans,” wrote
Carol Schaub of Neillsville in a press release.
There will be a potluck, in which people are encouraged to bring dishes to pass,
at 5:30 p.m.
Tap beer and soda will be available, as well as sandwiches and a birthday cake.
The Neillsville High School Band will perform.
The Legion will continue its monthly tradition of honoring local veterans. Terry
Wulff and Chris Werdin will be recognized for their years of service to the
country.
