Mr. and Mrs. Louis Janda attended the funeral of her uncle, Earl Samuel, at
Phillips on Wednesday afternoon, November 19, 1969. Mr. Samuel died at St.
Joseph's Hospital, Marshfield on November 17.
Roland Gasch, Mrs. Walter Gasch and Mrs. Dennis Frane and two sons attended the
funeral of Ed Gasch, 78, at Chilton, on Wednesday. He was a cousin of Roland and
Walter Gasch.
Mr. and Mrs. Donald Hardrath were supper guests a week ago Sunday at the home of
Mr. and Mrs. Dennis Frane, rural Colby.
William Herrmann returned home from St. Joseph's Hospital, Marshfield, last
Wednesday. He underwent surgery there the previous Thursday.
Mrs. Elmer Leichtnam has sold her house on Highway 13, south, to Mr. and Mrs.
Larry Jarocki of Owen. Mrs. Leichtnam and family will be moving to Marshfield,
and Walter Jarocki will move to the house being vacated by Mrs. Leichtnam. Mr.
and Mrs. Jimmy Johnson of Park Falls have purchased the Walter Jarocki house,
and plan to move here.
Mr. and Mrs. Clem Blonde of Green Bay visited at the George Calmes home
Wednesday. The two women are cousins.
