Frenette, Frances Jo "Fran" (25 FEB 1955 – 1 DEC 2018)

Frances Jo (Fran) Frenette, 63, crossed over to be with our Almighty Father and His Son Jesus Christ on Saturday evening, December 1, 2018, at her home in rural Greenwood, Wisconsin.

Franny Bounds was born February 25, 1955, in Albany New York, to Francis and Exilda (Barcomb) Bounds.

She attended Westmere Elementary, middle and high school at Guilderland High School of Guilderland, NY, all in the Albany area. She worked several jobs during her school years, including the Golden Krust Bakery, in the Stuyvesant Plaza on.;; Western Ave., Albany.

After graduation in 1974, she moved to Plattsburgh, NY to work for Sterling Optical at the Plattsburgh Mall. There she met Sgt. William (Willy/Bill) Frenette, from Thorp, Wisconsin, who was stationed at Plattsburgh Air Force Base. Fran and Bill (Willy) were married September 13, 1975, at St. Margret Mary's of Albany, with a reception and dance in her sister's backyard very nice. Made it 43 plus years.

After separation from the Air Force, the Frenettes relocated to Bill's home area in Wisconsin. We are pushing 40 years of living in the same home.

Some of Franny's many jobs over the years included: J Rogers, Men's Wear at the Thunderbird Mall in Menomonie, WI, The Horseshoe Inn of Wheeler, WI (before and after fire of 1977-8), Clark Co. Health Care Center of Owen, WI, CESA 10 and the Thorp Public School system, US Census Bureau, The Silver Dollar tavern of rural Thorp, Dale's North Mound. But her most important job was that of mother to her two sons: Joseph William and John Richard.

Fran also helped bring the area's educational opportunities for all into the 20th century by educating herself and the school system on the laws that apply to all students. She also was a foster grandparent at Thorp Elementary and also started the 5th grade "Pen Pal" project there.

Fran was definitely one-of-a-kind, sweet and ferocious. She was especially proud to be 'NANA' to her two bubalas, Malachi Paul and Emerson John Frenette.

She is sadly missed by us all.-but wants you to know that God is much bigger than the internet. So remember her fondly and think of her often. As the lyrics from "Last Kiss" by J. Frank Wilson and the Cavaliers says "She's gone to heaven so I have to be good, so I can see my baby when I leave ah this world."

Fran has joined her nephew, Johnny Bounds; her parents, grandparents, in-laws, aunts, uncles, and many others who have crossed over to the spirit world.

She is survived by husband Bill; son John and grandkids Malachi and Emerson of rural Greenwood; son Joe and Mindy (Smith) Frenette of Willard-Mead Lake; brothers: John and Patricia Bounds, Schenectady, NY, Ed and Patti Bounds, Concord, NC; sister, Mary and Jon Henriksen, Las Vegas. NV; nieces: Sandy and Bob Sponable. Schenectady, NY. Holley Frenette, Thorp, WI, Amy Theisen, Las Vegas, NV, Gina Frenette, Mondovi, WI, Janine and Jason Pearce, Round Rock TX, Tina and Paul Narula, Las Vegas NV, Jesica Becker, SC. Faith Bounds, NC; and nephew, Ken Engle, NC; and in-laws: Joaini Frenette, (Rick) Cornell, Corvallis, MT, Jeff and Sara Frenette, Mondovi, WI, Dick Frenette, Thorp, WI; grandnieces and nephews.

A celebration (party) in Fran's honor will be held on Saturday, June 15, 2019, at her home, W7705 Cloverdale Rd., Greenwood, Wisconsin, beginning around 1 p.m.  Plan to attend.  To all my Facebook friends....looking forward to soulbooking you, it's big out here.
