Horn, James W. (1871? – 29 NOV 1969)
James W. Horn, who would have been 98 years old Sunday, November 30, 1969, died
Saturday at Green Bay. Funeral services were ehld there Sunday and interment was
made Monday in Minneapolis.
The Horn family came to Riverside about 1917 and operated a farm and the
Riverside Store. Mrs. Horn died in 1936. In 1937 Mr. Horn left to make his home
with his son, Donald.
He was a member of the Presbyterian Church and served as an elder for 50 years,
from 1907 to 1957.
Mr. Horn served on the school board and was also president of the Hull Telephone
Company.
Besides his son, he is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Gladys Johnson of
Scottsborough, Arizona.
A son Raymond, died in 1930, and another son, Stanley, was killed in 1941 while
in service in Panama.
