Miss Sandra Ann Telford, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Telford of route 1,
Spencer, became the bride of Ronald Leo Beisner, son of Mr. Mildred Beisner,
Colby (Clark Co., Wis.), November 22, 1969 at Christ the King Catholic Church,
Spencer. The Rev. Andrew H. Bofenkamp officiated at the 12:30 p.m. ceremony.
Chris Keyes played the organ.
Miss Telford was given in marriage by her mother and father.
Attending the bride were Miss Sharon Telford of Spencer, maid of honor, Mrs. Ted
Gumz of Oshkosh and Miss Mary Pichler of Spencer, bridesmaids, and Laurie
Beisner, junior bridesmaid.
Larry Cooper of Colby was best man at the wedding. Ted Gumz of Oshkosh and Steve
Brown of Colby were the groomsmen. Arlyn Telford of Spencer served as junior
groomsman.
Also in the wedding party were Carol Dunow of Owen, flower girl, and Terry
Oehler of Wausau, ring bearer. Guests were ushered by Bill Telford of Mosinee
and Galen Beisner of Abbotsford.
The bride appeared in a bouffant gown of fabic and lace, highlighted with a
train, and a crown of crystals, aurora borealis crystals, and beads holding a
three-layer shoulder length veil.
The bride's attendants carried arrangements of asters and chrysanthemums. They
were dressed identically in floor length formals of lace and chiffon over
matching taffeta.
The ensemble worn by the maid of honor was Bermuda blue. Those worn by the
bridesmaids were apricot. Each had a forward headpiece of feathered taffeta
petals, to which short bouffant veils were secured.
The junior bridesmaid appeared in a full length apricot empire taffeta and white
lace dress.
A wedding reception was held at the Spencer Municipal Hall. An evening dance was
also held there. Supper was served in the church basement at 4:30 p.m.
The bride, a 1969 graduate of Spencer High School, has been employed by Land
O'Lakes in Spencer. Her husband, who attended Colby High School, is presently
employed by Spencer Sports Products, Inc.
They are residing at 109 N. Second Street, Colby.
