Announcement is made of the marriage of Miss Carla Peterson to Pfc. Dennis Gigstad on December 5, 1969 at Carmel, California. The double ring ceremony as performed by the Rev. Robert Toer at 6:30 o'clock at the United Methodist Church.

The bride is the daughter of Mrs. Edna Peterson of Abbotsford (Clark Co., Wis.), and the late Roy Peterson. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Gigstad of Cottonwood, Minnesota.

The new matron is a 1966 graduate of the Abbotsford High School, and for the past two eyars was employed in the offices of Dayton's Department Store, Minneapolis. Her husband, a 1966 graduate of Cottonwood High School, attended Concordia College at Moorhead, Minnesota, and was employed at Dayton's and Cargill's in Minneapolis prior to entering the armed forces. He is attending the west coast branch of the Defense Language Institute at Monterey, California, studying to be a Korean Linguist.

They are making their home at 800 Alice Street, Apt. 14, Monterey, California, 93940.
