Truchinski, William A. (5 January 1894-9 May 1977)
William A. Truchinski, 83, Rt. 2, Neillsville, formerly of Pittsville,
died Monday at Neillsville Memorial Hospital where he had been admitted
Saturday following a stroke.
Services will be Friday at Rembs-Kundinger Funeral Home, Marshfield,
the Rev. Dale H. Trimberger officiating, with burial in Mound Cemetery,
Pittsville.
Mr. Truchinski was born January 5, 1894, in Pittsville, and married
Agnes Schiller, who preceded him in death in August, 1937. He later
married Lena Fisher Lucht in Jamuary of 1938. Mr. Truchinski was engaged
in farming in the Pittsville area until 1957 when he moved to Cable
where he lived until 1959. He then spent three years in Janesville
before moving to Neillsville in 1968. He was a veteran of World War I
where he served with the army in Europe.
Survivors include his wife, four daughters, Mrs. John Balicki,
Sarver, Pennsylvania; Mrs Berdella Taylor, Milwaukee; Mrs. George
Kuchenbecker, Brookfield; Mrs. Robert May, Deland, Florida; one
step-daughter, Mrs. Arthur Johnson, Bandera, Texas; two stepsons,
Bernard Lucht, Merrillan; Berdell Lucht, Davis, Illinois; two brothers,
Charles, Vesper; and August, Pittsville; one sister, Mrs. Walter Finger,
Milwaukee; 11 grandchildren, 8 step-grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren,
18 step-grandchildren.
One brother and three sisters preceded him in death.
