Giloy, Ruth Ellen (4 April 1916-20 May 1991)


HUMBIRD--Ruth E. Giloy, 75, of Route !, Humbird, died Monday at Black
River Memorial Hospital.

She was born on April 4, 1916, near Humbird to John and Lena (Judas)
Bell. She married Clarence Giloy on October 14, 1939, in Mentor
township. He preceded her in death in 1973. Ruth graduated from Teachers
College in Stevens Point and taught at the Shady Glen School near Hixton
and the Fairview School near Humbird. She also worked at the Dadco
Company in Black River Falls for 10 years.

Survivors include two sons; Clarence Jr., (Dixie) Giloy of St. Cloud,
Minnesota and Dale (Susan) Giloy of Anoka, Minnesota; two daughters,
Donna Giloy of Humbird and Dawn (Garry) Hanson of Sussex; one brother,
Robert Bell of Humbird; four sisters, Alice Fitzmaurice, Josephine
Kaufman both of Humbird, Marcella Krueger, and Edna Bell both of Eau
Claire; five grandchildren.

Services will be Thursday at St. John's United Church of Christ,
Humbird. Burial will be in the East Lawn Cemetery in Alma Center.

Friends may call at the Jensen Funeral Home in Hixton.
