Johnson, Louis “Lou” (16 JUN 1956 - 12 FEB 2019)
Louis Johnson, 62, of Ladysmith passed away at his home on February 12, 2019.
Lou is survived by his 3 children; Angel (Sean) Marquardt of Ladysmith, Jesse
Johnson of Ladysmith and Dustin (Sara) Johnson of Isanti, MN, his 6
grandchildren; Brook, Kylie, Matthew, Tyler, Stacy, and Hailey and 2 brothers;
Duane (Helen) Johnson of Prentice, and Greg (Trish) Johnson of Hawkins.
Memorial services will be held at 12:00 Noon on Thursday, February 28, 2019 at
Nash-Jackan Funeral Home in Ladysmith with Deacon Doug Sorenson officiating.
Burial will be in Hillcrest Cemetery in Hawkins in the Spring.
Visitation for friends and family will be from 11:00 AM until service time on
Thursday at the Funeral Home.

Louis Johnson, 62, of Ladysmith, passed away at his home on Tuesday, Feb 12,
2019. Louis, known as Lou to many in the community, was born on June 16, 1956,
in Ladysmith, to Leonard and Pat Johnson of Hawkins.
Lou grew up in Hawkins and went to the Ladysmith-Hawkins school and graduated in
1975. He worked at the Mount Senario College until they closed. After their
closing he went to work at Conwed Designscape in Ladysmith until the plant shut
down in November of 2016. In 2017, he went to work at Jeld-Wen windows and doors
in Hawkins.
Lou loved the outdoors and enjoyed deer hunting, bass fishing and hunting for
grouse. On Sundays you would find him cruising the gravel back roads of Price
County in one of his beloved Ford pick-up trucks. He was a lifetime member of
the North American Hunting Club.
Lou is survived by his children, Angel (Sean) Marquardt of Ladysmith, Jesse
Johnson of Ladysmith and Dustin (Sara) Johnson of Isanti, Minn. He is also
survived by his grandchildren, Brook, Kylie, Matthew, Tyler, Stacy and Hailey;
his brothers, Duane (Helen) Johnson of Prentice and Greg (Trish) Johnson of
Hawkins.
He was preceded in death by his parents and many aunts and uncles.
Memorial services will be held at noon on Thursday, Feb. 28, at Nash-Jackan
Funeral Home in Ladysmith with Deacon Doug Sorenson officiating. Visitation for
friends and family will be from 11 a.m. until service time on Thursday at the
funeral home.
Burial will be in Hillcrest Cemetery in Hawkins in the spring.
