Lt. Co. Brendon Manglos assumed command of the Wisconsin Army National guard’s
724 Engineer Battalion, nicknamed the “Men of the North,” during an Oct. 20
ceremony at Ft. McCoy.
Manglos, a native of Jump River, has deployed twice with the Chippewa Falls
based 724th in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom in 2003 and again in 2010. He
holds degrees in biology from Mt. Senario College-Ladysmith and Biblical Studies
from Trinity Bible College.
Manglos now resided in Pardeeville with his wife and their two children.
