Viegut, Wendy Lee (Brisbin) (18 SEP 1949 - 17 FEB 2019)
Wendy Lee Viegut, 69, passed away peacefully after a brief battle with cancer,
on February 17, 2019, surrounded by her family and friends.
She was born in Shell Lake, WI on September 18, 1949, to Donald and Dorothy
(Hoffman) Brisbin. On September 23, 1967, Wendy married Allen Viegut at St.
John’s Lutheran Church, Rib Lake, WI, recently celebrating their 50th
anniversary.
Following marriage, the couple moved to Minneapolis, where their first two
children were born, before they took root in Green Bay in 1974, where their
final child was born. Wendy worked in the family business for most of her
married life. Wendy was a faithful member of Bethany United Methodist Church and
proud disciple of Christ. She had a passion for horses, an amazing sense of
humor and was known for her cooking and baking. Wendy loved spending time with
her family and friends, particularly her adored grandchildren and
great-grandchildren.
Wendy will be deeply missed by her husband, Allen; 3 children, Todd (Michelle)
Viegut, Tammy (Timm) Gay and Matt Viegut; 4 grandchildren; 4
great-grandchildren; her mother, Dorothy Brisbin; 3 siblings, Dick (Charlotte)
Brisbin, Robert Brisbin and Connie (Keith) Shebilske; and many other family and
friends
She was preceded in death by her father, Don Brisbin and a grandson, Christopher
Voght.
Visitation will be at Proko-Wall Funeral Home, 1630 E. Mason St., from 5:00 p.m.
to 7:00 p.m. followed by some brief prayers on Thursday, February 21, 2019.
Visitation will continue at Bethany United Methodist Church, 1110 Echo Ln., from
10:00 a.m. until 10:45 a.m. on Friday, February 22, 2019, with Rev. Robb
McClintock officiating. The Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Burial
will be in Westside Moravian Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers memorial expressions may be made to benefit Bethany United
Methodist Church and their many community outreach groups.
Wendy’s family would like to thank the entire staff of Bellin Hospital and their
Cancer Team for their outstanding care and support.
