Completes 40th Birkebeiner (Mohr – 23 February 2019)
Neillsville resident Jim Mohr, shown here with his daughter Jenny Friedel, completed his 40th American Birkebeiner cross-country ski marathon Feb. 23. He finished the 50-kilometer race from Cable to Hayward with a time of five hours and 47 minutes. Mohr received a plaque for his accomplishment at the annual Birchleggings Club Breakfast in Hayward.
