Mrs. Mathilda Burnett entertained in honor of her birthday on Thursday, January
22. Dinner guests were Mr. and Mrs. Alvin Luchterhand, Loyal, Mr. and Mrs. Frank
Allar, Spencer, Mrs. Leonard Heisler and son, Clarence, rural Unity, and Mrs.
Herman Francen and and Mrs. Augusta Miller of Colby.
Mr. and Mrs. Michael Salter and sons returned home Monday after spending the
weekend at the Stewart Salter and Eugene Marten homes. The Michael Slaters moved
from Appleton to Black Creek last week. Mrs. Alvine Seefeldt, who has been
visiting them, returned to her home.
Jerome Fischer returned from St. Joseph's Hospital Sunday afternoon. He was
hospitalized as a result of a snowmobile accident.
Mr. and Mrs. Donald Fischer returned home Sunday night from a vacation at Las
Vegas, Nevada, southern California and Arizona.
Mr. and Mrs. Donald Korntved left last Tuesday to spend a week at the home of
Dr. and Mrs. Dale Aderhold at Chetek.
Grant Herrick of Curtiss visited Thursday afternoon at the home of Mr.s George
Cook and Mrs. Clarence Ravy, on his way to spend the weekend in Columbus.
