Passow, Amanda (4 JUL 1883 – 24 JAN 1970)
Funeral services for Amanda Passow, 76, Colby (Clark Co., Wis.), were held
Tuesday, January 27, 1970 at 1:30 p.m. at the Lulloff Funeral Home of Colby. The
Rev. Kenneth Dix officiated. Burial was made in the Medford Cemetery.
Mrs. Passow died Saturday morning, January 24, 1970 at St. Joseph's Hospital in
Marshfield.
She was born Amanda Steffen at Shawano, Wisconsin on July 4, 1883 (this year
doesn't calculate to her being 76). She received her education at Medford
schools. In 1925 she married Albert Passow, who died in 1955. She had lived at
Alma, Wisconsin until 18 years ago, when she moved to Colby. She was a member of
the United Church of Christ.
Survivors include one son, Harold Daubins of St. Louis, Missouri, one foster
son, Armand Passow; three brothers, Edward and Theodore Steffen of Medford, and
Julius Steffen of King, Wisconsin, and one sister, Mrs. Ed Melander of Spencer.
In addition to her husband, one son, Everett, three brothers and three sisters
preceded her in death.
