Gregory, Emma (9 SEP 1893 – 17 JAN 1970)
Funeral services for Mrs. Emma Gregory, 76, of Tulsa, Oklahoma, were held
Tuesday, January 20, 1970 in the Springhill Baptist Church, and burial was made
in the Springhill Cemetery there.
Mrs. Gregory died January 17, 1970 at Tulsa, Oklahoma, where she had made her
home for the past ten years with her son William.
Emma Gregory was born September 9, 1893, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James Roby,
in the state of Missouri. Her marriage to James Gregory took place in Oklahoma
in 1912, where they made their home. Following the death of her husband in 1940,
Mrs. Gregory came to Wisconsin to live with her daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and
Mrs. Clarence Decker. In 1960 she moved to Tulsa to live with her son.
Preceding her in death are her husband and three children, James and Hazel, who
died in childhood, and one who died in infancy.
She is survived by her son, William, Tulsa, Oklahoma, her daughter, Mrs.
Clarence (Wanda) Decker of Colby (Clark Co., Wis.), four grandchildren, three
geat-grandchildren, and one step-daughter, Mrs. Larua Akins, Toteal, Oklahoma.
