Preussner, Edwin (16 SEP 1897 – 29 JAN 1970)
Military rites were conducted Saturday evening at 7:30 at Polnaszek Funeral
Home, Abbotsford, for Edwin A. Preussner, 72, and funeral services were
conducted there Sunday afternoon at 2 p.m.
Mr. Preussner was found dead of natural causes in his bed at 7:30 p.m. Thursday,
January 29, 1970, at his apartment at Green Vista.
The Rev. Arthur Rasch of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, town of Green Grove (Clark
Co., Wis.), officiated at the funeral services, and at the interment made in the
Colby Memorial Cemetery.
The pallbearers were Jim Grambort, Larry Grambort, Ronald Grambort, Gilvert
Kunze, Elroy Weiler, and Jack Wild.
Mr. Preussner was born September 16, 1897 in Illinois, and received his
education in Chicago. A single man, he worked as an auto mechanic for a number
of years. He was a veteran of World War II, and had lived in retirement at
Abbotsford (Clark Co.) for several eyars..
He was preceded in death by a brother and his parents.
