Gina Lynn, infant daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Brent Bower of Gages Lake, Illinois, was baptized on Sunday, February 1, 1970 at Zion Lutheran Church at Colby (Clark Co., Wis.), with Pastor David Pankow officiating. Mr. and Mrs. Gary Krauter of Colby were the baby's sponsors.

After the service, relatives and sponsors gathered for dinner at the Franklin Thieme home.

Present for the occasion, besides the parents and sponsors were great-grandparents, Albert Nelson of Abbotsford and Mr. and Mrs. John Hemminger of Owen, grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Frankklin Thieme of Colby and Mrs. Walter Beisner of Dorchester, uncles, James, Rodney and Robert Thieme of Colby, and Brice and Kim Beisner of Dorchester.
