Joe Arends, Campbellsport, who is staying with his brother, Andrew Arends of
Colby (Clark Co., Wis.), was the guest of honor at a surprise birthday
anniversary party held Saturday evening, February 28, 1970.
Mr. Arends observed his 85th birthday anniversary and enjoyed playing cards with
his friends. A potluck dinner was served and two birthday cakes were furnished
for the occasion.
Prizes were won by Mrs. Frank Beyerl, Mrs. Ervin Meyer, Harold Schommer and
Walter Pagel of Stetsonville.
