Heinzen, Beatrice (10 June 1912-30 April 1995)
Beatrice E. Heinzen, 83, a Marshfield resident, died on April 30, 1996,
at the Bethel Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, where she had resided
since March 28, 1995.
Funeral services will be Friday, May 3, 1996, at St. John's Catholic
Church. Marshfield. The Rev. Charles D. Stoetzel, pastor, will
officiate. Helen Brinkman will be the organist for St. John's Church
Funeral Choir.
Burial will be in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Marshfield. Grandsons and
relatives will serve as pallbearers. Visitation will be at
Rembs/Kundinger Chapel, Marshfield.
There will be a St, John's Parish Council of Catholic Women Rosary
Service combined with the Knights of Columbus Rosary Service, both today
at the funeral chapel.
Mrs. Heinzen was born June 10, 1912, in Greenwood, the daughter of
John and Edith (Larson) Severson. She attended Greenwood Elementary and
High School.
She was married to Frank J. Heinzen on February 4, 1931, at St.
John's Catholic Church.
Following their marriage, the Heinzens resided in Marshfield, later
moving to Wisconsin Rapids. They later farmed in the Chili area from
1940-1952 and in the Neillsville area from 1952-1960, when they moved to
Marshfield. She resided here until entering the nursing center.
She was a member of St. John's Catholic Church and the Parish Council
of Catholic Women.
She is survived by a son, David Heinzen of Marshfield; five
daughters, Audrey (Kenneth Sr.) Schommer of Chatham, Virginia, Beverly
(Stanley) James and Claudine Kirk, Both of Winston-Salem, North
Carolina, Sandra Heinzen of Marshfield, and Patricia (Jerry) Lewis of
Stevensville, Montana; 15 grandchildren, 32 great-grandchildren, and one
great-great-grandaughter.
She was preceded in death by her husband on February 6, 1996; her
parents, a sister and four brothers.
Memorials may be designated in Mrs. Heinzen's name to St. John's
Catholic Church.
