Thompson, Henry M. (20 APR 1901 – 12 APR 1970)
Henry Thompson, 68, died at his home in Abbotsford (Clark Co., Wis.) at 2 p.m.
Sunday from an apparent heart attack.
A service was held Monday evening at 8, with the Rev. Kenneth Dix officiating,
at Lulloff Funeral Home in Colby. On Tuesday the body was taken to the
Lauterburt-Oehler Funeral Home at Arlington Heights, Illinois. Services were
held at 1:30 p.m., Wednesday. Burial was made in the Irving Park Cemetery in
Chicago.
Henry Michael Thompson was born in Chicago April 20, 1901. He married Lorrain
Galsby in Chicago in 1951. They lived in Deerfield until June of 1967, when they
moved to Abbotsford, where they made their home since that time.
A glass blower by trade, Mr. Thompson worked most of his life for the Flastrick
Sing Company of Chicago.
Surviving is one daughter, Mrs. Jack (Glee) Steinhoff of Wheeling, Illinois, and
eight grandchildren.
One brother, Gilbert Thompson of Arlington Heights also survives.
One step-son, Louis William DeWitt, is deceased.
