Seefeldt, Gerald (3 OCT 1940 – 18 APR 1970)
Gerald Seefeldt, 29, Reseda, California, died in a Sepulveda, California
hospital on April 18, 1970.
He was born October 3, 1940 in the town of Unity (Clark Co., Wis.), and was a
1958 graduate of Spencer High School. He enlisted as a paratrooper in August
1958, and on December 23, 1958, he was married at Unity to Janice Waldhardt.
After spending three years in the Armed Forces stationed at For Campbell,
Kentucky, he was discharge in September 1961, and then moved to California.
Mr. Seefeldt was general manager of Ladd's Drycleaners and car washes at Encino,
California for the past several years.
Besides his wife, Janice, he is survived by four children, Kathy, Patti, Cindy
and Marilyn. Also surviving are his mother and step-father, Mr. and Mrs. Clayton
Wescott of Spencer; his father, Hugh Seefeldt of Prentice; twin sisters, Mrs.
Jack Kaiser of Milladore and Mrs. Gary Ewald of Colby; a sister, Dawn, and a
brother, David, at home; his maternal grandfather, Leo Duvall, Unity, and his
paternal grandfather, Frank Seefeldt of Prentice.
Attending the funeral in California were his mother, Mrs. Clayton Wescott, his
sister, Mrs. Gary Ewlad, and his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Mr. and Mrs.
Herman Waldhardt of Abbotsford.
