Patricia Marie Zygowicz of Ann Arbor, Michigan became the bride of Roger Headlee
Lamprey of Fort Myer, Virginia, on April 25, 1970.
Parents of the couple are Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Zygowicz of route 1, Unity, and
Dr. and Mrs. Headlee Lamprey of Alfred, New York.
St. Mary's Chapel in Ann Arbor, decorated with mums, carnations and snapdragons
in floral arrangements at the foot of the altar, was the scene of the wedding.
The 11 a.m. ceremony was witnessed by Father Charles Irvin.
Maid of honor was Beverly Showerman of Lansing, Michigan. Mary Kaye Troik of
Stevens Point was a bridesmaid of her cousin.
Attendants for the groom were Jeff Bludeau of Lewiston, New Jersey, as best man,
and Daniel Synes, Aberdeen, Maryland, as groomsman.
Performing ushering duties for his brother was Charles Lamprey of White Plains,
New York, and Joe Klein of Cambridge, Massachusetts.
Mr. and Mrs. William Lamprey and Mark Lamprey, brother of the groom, provided
music during the ceremony.
The floor length white bridal gown was designed with a high neck, empire waist
and bishop sleeves. It was trimmed with Venice lace and a matching chapel train.
The bouffant veil of illusion veiling was held by a matching headpiece.
The bride carried a cascade of Ivy and green plants.
The Nile green gowns of the bride's attendants were designed identical to the
bride's gown. They were trimmed with white Venice lace. Their flowers were
cascades of white mums.
A reception for 80 ugests at the Lord Fox Restaurant in Dexter, Michigan
followed the ceremony.
The groom received a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Michigan and
Master of Arts degree from Pennsylvania State University. He is a computer
programmer.
The bride, a research technician, has a Bachelor of Arts degree from Northland
College in Ashland, Wisconsin.
Following a wedding trip to the Bahamas, the newlyweds will be living at 3229
Valley Drive, Alexandria, Virginia.
Friends and relatives came from Michigan, New York, Wisconsin, Illinois, Ohio,
Indiana and Pennsylvania.
