Solie, Dorthea A. (4 December 1898-20 September 1958)

Mrs. Dorthea Solie, East Maple St., Stanley, died at Victory Hospital
in Stanley, Saturday, after a lingering illness.

Mrs. Solie was born December 4, 1898 in Jackson, Minnesota, the
daughter of John and Dorthea Johnson. She moved to the town of Worden
with her parents when a year old. On October 1, 1942, she was married to
Clarence Solie in Stanley by Rev. J. N. Midtlein. For the past ten years
she had been employed at the Acme Steel Plant in Stanley.

She was a member of Our Savior's Lutheran Church and Ladies Aid of
Stanley.

Surviving are her husband; one step-daughter, Vivien Jean Solie of
Stanley; one sister, Mrs. Nels (Elsie) Bye of Stanley; three brothers,
Carl, Ole and Hanson Johnson, all of Stanley. Her parents and three
bothers preceded her in death.

Friends may call at the Plombon Funeral Home, Stanley until Tuesday
at which time the remains will be taken to Our Savior's Lutheran Church
to lie in state until funeral time, with Rev. J. N. Midtllein of Eau
Claire, officiating. Interment will be in Evergreen Cemetery.
