Miller, William J. (4 JUN 1883 – 17 MAY 1970)
William Miller, 86, of Unity (Clark Co., Wis.), died Sunday morning at St.
Joseph's Hospital at Marshfield, where he had been a patient the past two
months.
Funeral services were Tuesday, May 19, at 2 p.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church,
Unity. The Rev. Robert Sutherland officiated at the services.
Interment was made in the Riplinger (St. John's) Lutheran Cemetery.
The Lulloff Funeral Home of Colby was in charge of the arrangements.
William Joseph Miller was born in Manitowoc County June 4, 1883. He came to the
area west of Unity with his parents when he was a young man. He lived there
until 1950, when he moved to Unity and lived with the family of his brother,
George Miller. He was never married.
When he was young he worked in the saw mills of central Wisconsin. He still
liked to do this kind of work, and maintained an interest in farming all his
life.
Mr. Miller was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church.
He is survived by a brother, George Miller of Unity, and a sister, Mrs. Marie
Helmke of Stratford.
Two brothers, Henry and Louis, are deceased.
