Hutchins, E. Arlie (27 AUG 1917 - 12 MAR 2019)

E. Arlie Hutchins, age 101, of Colby, formerly of Owen passed away on Tuesday, March 12, 2019 at the Marshfield Medical Center.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 1:30 Saturday, March 23, 2019 at Curtiss Alliance Church. Pastor Carl Swarr will officiate. Interment will follow at Riverside Cemetery in Withee.

The Maurina-Schilling Funeral Home in Owen is entrusted with the arrangements.

Arlie was born on August 27, 1917, the only child of Claude and Catherine (O’Malley) Hutchins in Ingram, Rusk County, WI. The family moved to North Dakota during her younger years and returned to Owen where she graduated from Owen High School and attended one year additional schooling. Arlie worked in Wausau as Corporate Office Manager and for the City of Owen as City Clerk.

She loved to travel (including all over the world), socializing with her card club, playing cards and eating out especially for Friday fish fries.

Arlie is survived by many cousins, friends and her church family.

She was preceded in death by her parents.
