Tresemer, Nancy J. (Holt) (30 MAR 1939 - 11 MAR 2019)
Nancy J. Tresemer, 79, of Neillsville died on March 11, 2019, at Neillsville
Care and Rehab.
Nancy was born on March 30, 1939, to Fern and Albert Holt of Neillsville. Nancy
graduated from Neillsville High School, class of 1957.
On June 1, 1957, she was united in marriage to Edward Tresemer at the Methodist
Church in Neillsville. Nancy held various jobs in Neillsville including Urban
Sales and Service, Clark County Courthouse and Figi’s. Nancy enjoyed playing
cards, reading, bowling – which she was involved with the WIBC for many years
and her family.
She is survived by three children: Judy (Dennis) Buchholz of Neillsville, Tim
(Lori) Tresemer of Neillsville and Diane (Tom) Firnstahl of Colby; nine
grandchildren: Jill, Dustin, Jenny, Kristine, Tiffany, Eric, Amy, Pam and Josh;
thirteen great-grandchildren: Colton, Tyler, Andrew, Evan, Leah, Zoey, Natalie,
Fletcher, Baylee, Alexis, Makayla, Ben and Landon. She is further survived by
two sisters: Shirley Zager of St. Cloud, Minn., and Kay Kent of Winona, Minn.;
brother-in-law, Jerry Johnson of Neillsville; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, Edward.; daughter and
son-in-law, Marcia and David Lewis; her parents, Fern and Albert Holt; one
grandson, Kurtis Tresemer; and three siblings: Barbara Henchen, Mary Ellen
Johnson and William Holt; and brothers-in-law: Robert Zager and Louis Henchen.
The Cremation Society of Wisconsin is assisting the family with arrangements.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, March 30, 2019, from 1-4 p.m. at
Apple Valley Restaurant in Neillsville.
