Granton--Funeral services for Louis E. Hebert, 83. Granton, who died
Tuesday afternoon at the Hebert farm, in the Town of Lynn will be Friday
at the Corpus Christi Catholic Church, Bakerville. The Rev. Father
Muller will officiate in the Lynn Cemetery.
The body is reposing at the Gilbertson Funeral Home where a general
rosary is scheduled for this evening.
Mr. Hebert was born May 25, 1867, in Fond du Lac County, where he
received his education. He was married to the former Bertha Rocheleau,
June 12, 1892, at Spencer. He had farmed for about 50 years in the Town
of Lynn and lived in the last place of residence the past 40 years.
He is survived by the following children, Elliot Hebert, Chili; Lyman
Hebert, at home; Mrs. Matthew (Loretta) Schmolke, Downers Grove,
Illinois; Mrs. Amos (Alva) Markee, Auburndale; Mrs. Bernice Peterson,
Downers Grove, Illinois; Mrs. Al (Julia) Thomas, Berwyn, Illinois;
Bertha McCann, Granton; John Hebert, stationed with the armed forces in
Japan; and Mrs. Jack (Myrtle) Donnegan, Pittsville; 15 grandcildren;
five great-grandchildren; a brother, Leo Hebert, Colby; and a sister,
Miss Florence Hebert, Unity.
His wife and six children preceded him in death.
