Winkler, Ida (20 October 1888 – 27 December 1974)

Funeral services for Mrs. Ida Winkler, age 86, of Neillsville Memorial Home, were held on Sunday afternoon, Dec. 29, at 1:30 p.m. at the Zion American Lutheran Church in the Town of Grant. Rev. Stephen Engelstad officiated. Burial was made in the church cemetery.

Mrs. Ida Winkler was born October 20, 1888 in Germany. She was married in April of 1909 in Germany to Max Winkler. Mrs. Winkler and her husband came to the United States in 1926 and lived in Chicago until 1945 when they moved to the Town of Grant. Mr. Winkler preceded her in death on November 11, 1959.

Mrs. Winkler is survived by one son, Helmuth of Granton, 4 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.

Besides her husband, Mrs. Winkler was preceded in death by one son.

Gilbertson Funeral Home in Granton was in charge of arrangements.
