Johnson Ole William (30 November 1901-7 February 1988)

STANLEY---Ole William Johnson, 86, died Sunday, February 7, 1988 at
Victory Memorial Hospital, Stanley.

He was born November 30, 1901 in the Town of Worden to Dorothea
(Jacobson) and John O. Johnson. He grew up in the town of Worden.

He married Hulda Sass on July 14, 1937 in Stanley.

They lived and farmed in Worden until 1956, when they moved to
Stanley. He was employed at Stanley Corporation until his retirement.

Survivors include two sons, Lawrence, Marshall, and John, Mesa,
Arizona, three daughters, Janice (Richard) Dobrzynski, Cottage Grove,
Shirley (Douglas) Erickson, Rockford, Illinois, and Nancy (Dennis)
Janisewski, Eau Claire; one sister, Elsie Bye, Stanley; 10
grandchildren, three step grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held Tuesday at Our Savior's Lutheran
Church, Stanley, with Pastor Marshall Hall officiating. The body will be
donated to the University of Wisconsin Medical School.

Plombon Funeral home, Stanley, is handling the arrangements.
