Mrs. Alma M. Kobs attended the confirmation exercise on Sunday in Milwaukee for her granddaughter, Holly Rae Rosselet. Others present at her parents' home, besides her brother, were Mr. and Mrs. DeLos Kobs of Mt Horeb, and Mr. and Mrs. Walter Rosselet Sr., Mrs. Earl Kauffman, all of Milwaukee. The home was decorated with gold and white roses and plants of pink hydrangea. Gerald F. Kobs called from California and congratulated Holly Rae.

Mrs. Harold Block and daughter Judy and granddaughter Jean drove to Chicago Saturday to attend the confirmation of Mrs. Block's cousin, Jerry Lopez, son of Mr. and Mrs. Theodore Lopez. Mrs. Block also visited her brother and sister, Henry Zitzer and Emily Clark, and her nieces, Shirley Lopez and Gloria De La Rosa. Judy Block visited Anthony Lopez in Chicago. They returned home Monday evening.

Mr. and Mrs. David Calley Sr. of Murray, Iowa departed Thursday morning after having spent the past two weeks with their son and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Dave Calley and family.

Randy Apfelbeck, son of Mr. and Mrs. Jim Apfelbeck, was guest of honor at a party after school may 21 celebrating his eighth birthday anniversary. Paty guests included Ken and Scott Schjoneman, Mark Raatz, Doug Fink, James Weigel, Sarah Tesmer, David Cook, Brian Toelle and Laura Apfelbeck. Games and pony rides kept the group entertained until the picnic supper was served. Then more pony rides followed to complete the day.
