Braden, Danny “Dan” Lee Sr., (7 JAN 1953 - 11 MAR 2019)

Danny “Dan” Lee Braden Sr., 66, passed away unexpectedly Monday, March 11, 2019. Danny was born Jan. 7, 1953, in Chippewa Falls, the son of Eugene Braden and Marie Lawrence.
He graduated from Milton High School in 1971.

Dan married Gloria Morales July 22, 1972, in Janesville. They lived in Holcombe, where he was self-employed for many years in the lawn care profession. He loved being outdoors hunting, fishing and spending time with his family, especially his wife and grandkids, whom he loved dearly.

He is survived by his loving wife – Gloria; his children – Lydia (Chad) Hinsch, Goodhue, Minn., Rachel (Art Gont) Braden, Jason Braden, Holcombe, and Danny Braden Jr., Chippewa Falls; grandchildren – Austin, Bradyn, Alandra, Parker, Grayson, Alfie and Chase; siblings – Bill (Shirley) Hartley, Allen (Julie) Braden, Janice (Jeff) Pergande, Randy (Susan) Braden, Roxie (Paul) Williams and Cindy (Emmett) Reilly; and many nieces; nephews and family members.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and siblings – Cheryl, Ronnie, Debbie and Gary.
A memorial service was held at Borton-Leiser Funeral Home in Cornell, Sunday, March 17, from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. There will be a private family interment at a later date.
