Ronald Stanley "Whitey" Freitag, 84 of Exeland, died on Friday, March 22, 2019
at his home surrounded by family.
Ronald is survived by his 3 children; Angela (James) Feltes of Viroqua, Pamela
(Dennis) Schwaner of Madison and Rick (Colleen) Freitag of Madison, 6
grandchildren; Jessica L. Feltes, Rachel L. Feltes, Erinn M. Feltes, Alan
Schwaner, Grace Freitag and Joshua Freitag, 1 sister; Karen Delwiche of Exeland
and two special friends; Suzi Kraft and Bonnie Klinger.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.

Ronald Stanley "Whitey" Freitag, 84, of Exeland, died on Friday, March 22, 2019
at his home surrounded by family.
Ronald was born on May 4, 1934, in New Glarus to Otto Henry and Alta Marie
(Blum) Freitag. He married Ruth Miller, who preceded him in death. He later
married Rose Marie Pejka, who also preceded him in death.
He was a U.S. Navy veteran, honorably discharged in 1952. He began working at
Madison Silo Company building silos. He then changed careers and started driving
a car carrier with C & J Trucking eventually retiring from E & L Trucking after
16-plus years of safe driving. He was a member of the Teamsters. In his younger
days, Ronald enjoyed hunting, fishing and camping with family and close friends.
He enjoyed lighting firecrackers and tossing them in campfires or at people's
feet.
Ronald is survived by his children, Angela (James) Feltes of Viroqua, Pamela
(Dennis) Schwaner of Madison and Rick (Colleen) Freitag of Madison and his
grandchildren, Jessica L. Feltes, Rachel L. Feltes, Erinn M. Feltes, Alan
Schwaner, Grace Freitag and Joshua Freitag. He is also survived by his sister,
Karen Delwiche of Exeland and two very special friends, Suzi Kraft and Bonnie
Klinger.
He was preceded in death by his father, Otto and his mother Alta, who died
giving birth to Ronald. He was also preceded in death by his sister, Rosalie
Freitag; his brother, Keith (Irene) Freitag and his brother-in-law, Dennis
Delwiche.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
Nash-Jackan Funeral Home is assisting with the arrangements.
