Wilhelmi, Hazel P. (20 AUG 1888 – 5 JUN 1970)
Funeral services for Mrs. Hazel P. Wilhelmi, 81, Abbotsford (Clark Co., Wis.),
who died Friday, June 5, 1970, at St. Joseph's Hospital, Marshfield, were held
Monday afternoon.
The Rev. Keun Won Park conducted the services at the First Presbyterian Church,
Abbotsford, at 1:30, during which Ronald Boss was organist.
Pallbearers for the interment made in the Abbotsford Cemetery were John Fecker,
Otto Hackel, Peter Hanson, Henry House, Norman Lukas, and Henry Ortmeier.
The body lay in state at the Polnaszek Funeral Home, Abbotsford, until noon
Monday, when it was taken to the church.
The former Hazel Phaneuf, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Phaneuf, was born in
Aberdeen, South Dakota, August 20, 1888. At an early age she came to the town of
Mayville (Clark Co.), where she received her education. She was married to
Gustave Wilhelmi on June 26, 1907, and lived in Abbotsford continuously until
the time of her death. Mr. Wilhelmi died April 13, 1948.
She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church, Abbotsford.
She is survived by an only brother, Gordon Phaneuf of Abbotsford, who is now
seriously ill at St. Joseph's Hospital, Marshfield. There are several nieces and
nephews.
Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by two brothers and four sisters.
