Gloria Elaine Wellman and Leonard Christopher Hardin, both of Los Angeles,
California, were married Sunday, June 14, 1970 at the Ajalon Temple Baptist
Church in Compton, California. The Rev. Claude Evans officiated at the 8:30 p.m.
ceremony.
The bride wore a white lace street length dress with a white satin sash and a
corsage of pink carnations.
The matron of honor was Antoinette Clayton of Los Angeles. She was attired in a
pink dress and coat ensemble. Best man was Royal Clayton, also of Los Angeles, a
close friend of the groom.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Wellman, route 1, Colby. She
attended Colby public schools and is a 1966 graduate of the University of
Wisconsin.
The groom is a graduate of Chicago public schools. He owns and operates HH
Motors, 2718 S. Figueroa, Los Angeles. The bride is currently employed by the
Social Security Administration in Los Angeles.
After a honeymoon trip to San Francisco, the couple is at home at 4770 Don
Miguel Drive, Los Angeles.
