Stauner, Lillian W. (Haufe) (8 JUN 1927 - 30 MAR 2019)
Lillian W. Stauner, 91, of Marshfield, previously of Medford, passed away on
Saturday, March 30, 2019 at Three Oaks Health Services in Marshfield.
Lillian was born on June 8, 1927 to Max and Elizabeth (Koch) Haufe in the
Township of Holton. She attended the Dorchester school system and graduated in
1945. She married Alvin L. Stauner on October 11, 1947; he preceded her in death
on September 30, 2012.
She was a homemaker and taught Sunday school for 25 years. She was a member of
United Church of Christ.
Lillian enjoyed walks with her husband in Medford and fishing on Horseshoe and
Little Chelsea Lakes.
Lillian is survived by her two sons, Alvin (Sandra) Stauner of Pewaukee and
James (Carol) Stauner of Marshfield, five grandchildren, and 6
great-grandchildren.
In addition to her husband and parents, Lillian is preceded in death by her
daughter, Faye; siblings, Roland Haufe, Martha Winchell, and Bertha Winchell.
A funeral service for Lillian will take place at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, April 3,
2019 at Community United Church of Christ in Medford, with Pastor Mary Jo Laabs
and Pastor Patti Steevens officiating. Burial will follow at Medford Evergreen
Cemetery I. Visitation will take place at Community United Church of Christ on
Wednesday, April 3, 2019 from 9:00 AM until the time of service at 11:00 AM.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations in Lillian’s name may be given to the
family for use at a later designation.
Hemer Funeral Service of Medford and Rib Lake has been entrusted with
arrangements.
