Jacobi, Ida ( 28 MAR 1883 – 6 JUL 1970)
Mrs. Henry (Ida) Jacobi, 87, died at St. Joseph's Hospital, Marshfield, Monday
morning, July 6, 1970, at 10 o'clock, following a lingering illness.
The body lay in state at the Polnaszek Funeral Home, Abbotsford until noon
Thursday, when it was taken to Christ Lutheran Church, Abbotsford, where
services were held at 2 p.m., with the Rev. F.H. Sprengler officiating. Burial
followed in the town of Holton Cemetery.
Mrs. Jacobi, the former Ida Leonhardt, was born in the town of Holton (Marathon
Co., Wis.) March 28, 1883.
She spent all her life in the town of Holton, but was a resident of the Havenet
Nursing Home, Owen, since last November 22. Her marriage to Henry Jacobi took
place September 2, 1908 in Dorchester (Clark Co., Wis.).
She was a member of Christ Lutheran Church, Abbotsford.
Surviving her are her husband, two sons, Ervin and Chester Jacobi of Abbotsford,
and three daughters, Mrs. Leroy (Norma) Utkey of Curtiss, Miss Ellen Jacobi of
Owen, and Mrs. Doris Tipton of Cucamonga, California.
There are seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
She also has two sisters, Mrs. Clara Jacobi and Mrs. Marth Gokey, both of
Abbotsford.
Two sisters and one brother preceded her in death.
