Boss, Edna H. (21 OCT 1892 – 7 JUL 1970)
Mrs. Walter Boss, 77, Abbotsford, died Tuesday, July 7, 1970 at her home in the
town of Holton (Marathon Co., Wis.). The Rev. F. H. Sprengler of Christ Lutheran
Church conducted funeral services at the Polnaszek Funeral Home, Abbotsford,
Thursday, at 2 p.m. Ronald Boss was the organist and Miss Julene Radlinger of
Dorchester was soloist.
Six grandsons served as pallbearers for the interment made in the town of Holton
Cemetery.
The former Edna H. Glenzer was born October 31, 1892, in Dorchester (Clark Co.,
Wis.), where she received her education. She was married there September 28,
1912, to Walter Boss. The couple celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary in
1962.
Following their marriage they had operated a farm and made their home in the
town of Holton.
Survivors include her husband; four sons, Earl and Robert Boss, both of Colby,
Ernest Boss, Abbotsford, Vernon Boss, Curtiss; three daughters, Mrs. Herbert
(Lenore) Myers, Curtiss, Mrs. Violet Olsen and Mrs. Alvin (Ruth) Justice, both
in California, and twenty eight grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by three sons.
