Kronschnabl, Sarah (12 SEP 1882 – 23 JUL 1970)

Rites were held Monday at St. Louis Catholic Church in Dorchester (Clark Co.,
Wis.) for Mrs. Sarah Kronschnabl, 87. She died last Thursday at her home.
Mrs. Kronschnabl has been a Dorchester resident for 50 years. She was married
there to Joseph Kronschnabl January 7, 1903, and the couple farmed in the town
of Mayville until 1920, when they moved to the village and operated a bowling
alley and tavern. Mr. Kronschnabl died in 1948.
Surviving are Misses Rose and Cecelia Kronschnabl, Mrs. Carl (Helen) Mertens,
Mrs. Clifford (Mildred) Herman, and Max and Jerome Kronschnabl, all of
Dorchester; six grandchildren, and 13 great-grandchildren.
Three sons and a daughter preceded their mother in death.
