Miss Rita Lesczynski, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Bernard Lesczynski of Abbotsford (Clark Co., Wis.), former Athens residents, had an average of 3.939 during her freshman years at the University of Wisconsin, Madison, her parents learned in a congratulatory letter received from the university.

This record gives her the highest grades in the agricultural freshman class, and as one of the winners of this distinction and honor, her name will be engraved upon the school's agricultural freshman plaque.

Miss Lesczynski if presently attending summer school at the university extension center at Milwaukee.

She is a 1969 graduate of Athens High School.
