Larson, Elmer W. (21 NOV 1894 – 1 AUG 1970)
Elmer Larson, 75, died Saturday afternoon, August 1, 1970, at the Veterans
Administration Hospital at Madison. He had been a patient there for the past
month.
Funeral services were Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. at the Lulloff Funeral Home. The
Rev. Keun Won Park officiated at the rites.
Interment was made in the Colby Memorial Cemetery.
Elmer W. Larson was born November 21, 1894 in Colby (Clark Co., Wis.). He was
educated in local schools.
Mr. Larson lived with his parents and farmed with them until he enlisted in the
armed services. He enlisted at Ashland in June 1918, and was a PFC in the Army
Engineering Division. His discharge was at Camp Grant, Illinois in June 1919.
Mr. Larson worked on farms his entire life. He was never married. He had been
living at the Grand Army Home at King for the past six years.
Two brothers, Walter of Wausau and Ivan of Marshfield, survive. One sister
preceded him in death.
