Noel Schraufnagel, son of Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Schraufnagel of Abbotsford (Clark
Co., Wis.), has accepted a psotion at Alcorn A.M. College in Alcorn,
Mississippi. He will be teaching American Literature and composition.
Mr. and Mrs. Schraufnagel, who were visiting here, will be leaving from Lincoln,
Nebraska on Friday for Mississippi.
Mr. Schraufnagel attended Wisconsin state University, River Falls from 1964 to
1967, and was awarded a BA degree. He attended the University of Nebraska at
Lincoln under the National Defense Education Act Fellowship from 1967 – 1970,
and completed his work for his doctorate this summer. He will be awarded a PhD
in English at the end of the semester in January. The title of his thesis is
"Modern Novel and Its Social Implications."
