Schupp, Paul P. (21 OCT 1889 - 21 JAN 1962)
Paul P. Schupp, who had suffered a heart ailment the past several years, died
early Sun. morning at the Medford hospital where he had been a patient since
Sept. 22. A retired farmer, he was 72 years old.
Funeral services were held yesterday morning at Holy Rosary Catholic church in
Medford, Msgr. Gregory Reuter officiating, and interment was in St. Mary’s
Catholic cemetery in the town of Little Black. Six nephews served as
pallbearers: Phillip and Gene Pueschner, Raymond and William Molitor and Conrad
and Victor Schupp.
Born Oct. 21, 1889, in the town of Little Black, he lived there until moving to
Medford two years ago. In addition to farming, Mr. Schupp worked in the feed
department at the Medford Co-op store for several years.
He was married Oct. 20, 1925, at Medford to the former Miss Mary Kelnhofer, who
survives. Also surviving are five daughters, Wilma, Mrs. Gerald Zastrow,
Lucille, Mrs. Frank C. Drost, and Rita, Mrs. Sam Way, all of Medford; Jeanne,
Mrs. Robert Surman, Ellsworth Air Force Base, Rapid City, S.D., and Mary, Mrs.
Wm. Luterbach, Menomonee Falls; 10 grandchildren; three brothers, Max, Phillip
and Victor, all of Medford; and two sisters, Mrs. Anton Molitor of Medford and
Mrs. Lucille Pueschner of Dorchester.
A sister and his parents preceded him in death.
