Kassie, Mr./Mrs. John (Silver – 1 SEP 1970)
Mr. and Mrs. John Kassie, town of Colby (Clark Co., Wis.) residents, celebrated
their 25th wedding anniversary on September 1, 1970.
Their son-in-law, daughter and granddaughter, Mr. and Mrs. Edward Magister and
Charise, of Milwaukee, were home for this occasion.
Ann anniversary high mass was offered Sunday, September 6 by Father Frank
Rushman at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Colby.
John Kassie and Rita Foley were married September 1, 1945 at St. Rita's Church
in Chicago. They made their home in Chicago and Harvey, Illinois until 1951,
when they moved to Colby.
They are parents of two daughters, and two sons, Mrs. Edward Magister (Barbara)
of Milwaukee; Mrs. John Morrison (Carole), of Grenada, Mississippi; Thomas, who
is attending North Central Institute of Technology in Wausau, and Michael, who
is a freshman at Colby High School.
