Schultz, Marie (26 AUG 1887 – 19 SEP 1970)
Funeral services were held for Mrs. Marie Schultz, 83, Tuesday at Peace United
Church of Christ at Dorchester.
She died at the Neillsville Memorial Home Saturday. Burial was made in the
Dorchester Memorial Cemetery.
Six grandsons served as pallbearers. They were Donald Scheibe of Stetsonville,
Jerry and Allen Schultz of Abbotsford, Roger and Terry Schultz of Marshfield,
and Keith Johnson of Port Washington.
Arrangements were made by the Maurina Funeral Home of Dorchester.
The former Marie Sievert was born August 26, 1887, at Auburndale. After her
marriage to Albert Schultz on April 12, 1906 (Cemetery says m. 1907), the couple
farmed in the town of Holton (Marathon Co., Wis.).
Mr. Schultz died in 1932, and since 1955, she had been making her home with her
daughters.
Surviving are three sons, Elmer, address unknown, Harold of rural Abbotsford,
and Earl of Port Washington, and three daughters, Mrs. Helen Auberson of
Marshfield, Mrs. George (Myrtle) Smith of Dorchester, and Mrs. Art (Verna)
Schiebe of Abbotsford.
There are 20 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren, and 6
great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, a sister, and three brothers.
