Bodamer, Paul Allen (18 December 1960 – 24 March 2019) With Flag

Paul A. Bodamer, age 58, of Dunlap, TN, formerly of Thorp, passed away at Erlanger Hospital in Chattanooga, TN on Sunday, March 24, 2019.

Paul Allen Bodamer was born on December 18, 1960 in Stanley, WI to Robert and Joan (Brown) Bodamer. He was raised and received his education in Thorp. After completing high school, Paul enlisted in the U.S Army. When his enlistment was up, he settled in Thorp until his move to Tennessee in the summer of 2018. Paul lived his final days in a cabin in the hills of Tennessee. He and his significant other, Kathy Lewan, spent much time with their Bluegrass Gospel friends. He belonged to the Southern Chapter of the Sons of the Confederacy of Sequatchie County Tennessee.

He will be sadly missed by his brother: Philip (Tami) Bodamer of Gearhart, OR; his 2 sisters: Jennifer (Robert) Evans of Zephyr Cove, NV and Jessica (Dewey) Gilchrist of Deforest, WI; his significant other: Kathy Lewan and her children; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Paul was preceded in death by his parents.

A celebration of Paul's life will be held from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. on Saturday, April 27, 2019 at Thorp Funeral Home.
