Lueddecke, Louis (28 APR 1893 – 30 SEP 1970)
Services were held Saturday at Dorchester for Lois Lueddecke, 77, of route 1,
Abbotsford, who died Wednesday, September 30, 1970, at St. Joseph's Hospital,
Marshfield.
The Rev. Milton Petzold officiated at the services at Peace United Church of
Christ, and interment was made in the Dorchester Memorial Cemetery.
Pallbearers were all grandsons, Alvin, Ronald and Duane Zugier, Lyle Anderson,
and Marvin and Leon Lueddecke.
The Maurina Funeral Home of Dorchester was in charge of the arrangements.
Mr. Lueddecke was born in Dorchester on April 28, 1893. His marriage to the
former Amelia Moder, who survives him, took place at the Peace United Church of
Christ on June 14, 1916.
They operated a farm in the town of Holton (Marathon Co., Wis.) until retirement
in 1961.
Surviving, besides his wife, are a son, Lester of Abbotsford, and two daughters,
Mrs. Paul (Mabel( Zugier of Dorchester, and Mrs. Gordon (Dorothy) Anderson of
Abbotsford.
There are fourteen grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
There are also two sisters, Mrs. Bruno (Alma) Muehler and Mrs. Hattie
Ploeckelman of Sheboygan.
He was preceded in death by 11 brothers and sisters.
