Laabs, Anna (6 JUN 1887 – 23 OCT 1970)
Mrs. Arthur Laabs, 83, Colby (Clark Co., Wis.), died Friday evening at the
Memorial Nursing Home at Neillsville (Clark Co.). She had been living there
since February 1965.
Funeral services were Tuesday afternoon, October 28, 1970, at 2 p.m. at the
Methodist Church in Colby. The Rev. Bervie A. Scott officiated at the rites.
Burial was made in the Colby Memorial Cemetery.
The Lulloff Funeral Home in Colby made the arrangements.
Anna Laabs was born in Dorchester on June 6, 1887, and was married to Arthur
Laabs May 29, 1909.
Mr. and Mrs. Laabs lived on a farm in the town of Hull (Marathon Co., Wis.)
until their retirement in 1945. They then moved to Colby.
Surviving are her husband and one daughter. She is Mrs. Edward (Anita) Bergstrom
of Eagle River.
There are two grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
