Mr. and Mrs. Herman Rabska and Mr. and Mrs. Arnold Dehne were on a week's
vacation to the Dakotas, visiting the Black Hills and Badlands, and then to
Wyoming for hunting. They bagged their deer on Thursday and returned home
Saturday.
SP/5 Paul Hopperdietzel arrived Tuesday of last week, after seeing active duty
with the infantry in Vietnam for the past year. He is having a 30 day leave, and
will report to Ft. Hood, Texas.
Mr. and Mrs. A.J. Schmirler went to Madison Sunday morning to visit their
son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Gilbert Wiedenhoeft and family. They
returned Monday afternoon.
Mr. and Mrs. Art Ramminger had cousins as their guests last week: Mrs. Jennie
Ficarra, Covina, California, Mr. and Mrs. Victor Bartunek, of Berwyn, Illinois,
and Mr. and Mrs. Harry Williams of Owen.
George Walter of Kenosha called at the home of Mrs. Ruth Stowe Saturday. They
are former neighbors.
Mrs. Alphonse Herrmann returned to her duties at Dr. Lyle KallStrom's dental
office after a three week vacation. Mrs. Hilarion Michlig substituted for her
during the vacation. Mrs. Herrmann and her daughter, Mrs. Harold Strohbehn of
Marshfield, flew to Chico, California to visit her elderly aunt, Mrs. Ella
Patrick, and then to Albuquerque, New Mexico to visit her brother-in-law and
sister, Dr. and Mrs. W.W. Kridelbaugh, and family. They returned Tuesday of last
week and were met at the airport at Minneapolis by Mr. Strohbehn, who brought
them home.
