Esther B. Schott, 98 of Bruce, WI, died Sunday, April 21, 2019 at Care Partners
in Ladysmith, WI.
She is survived by 1 son: Richard & Judy of Bruce, 2 grandsons: Jay & Colleen of
Exeland, WI and Jesse & Erica of Mapleton, MN, 7 great-grandchildren: Teri Lyn,
Heather, Alex, Zayden, Ayla, Sydney and Isaac, 7 great-great-grandchildren and
many nieces and nephews.
Memorial Services will be Saturday, April 27, 2019 at 11:00 A.M. at the Nash -
Jackan Funeral Home in Ladysmith with Rev. Mark Bartlett officiating. Burial
will be in Bruce Cemetery.
Friends may call on Friday, April 26 after 4:00 P.M. at the funeral home and
again on Saturday morning for an hour prior to the services.

Esther B. Schott, 98, of Bruce, died on Sunday, April 21, 2019, at Care Partners
in Ladysmith.
Esther was born on Dec. 20, 1920, to Jacob and Anne (Asp) Evjen in Ladysmith.
She and her family lived North of Glen Flora in Cedar Rapids Township while she
was growing up. She married Alex Schott on June 30, 1946. He preceded her in
death in 1980. Esther was also a member of First Lutheran Church in Exeland.
She is survived by one son, Richard (Judy) Schott of Bruce and her grandsons,
Jay (Colleen) Schott of Exeland and Jesse (Erica) Schott of Mapleton, Minn. She
also is survived by seven great-grandchildren: Teri Lyn, Heather, Alex, Zayden,
Ayla, Sydney and Isaac and seven great-great-grandchildren. She is further
survived by many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Alex and three brothers
and their wives: Calmer (Fannie) Evjen, Arnold (Marie) Evjen and Leslie
(Dorothy) Evjen.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, April 27, at Nash-Jackan
Funeral Home in Ladysmith with Rev. Mark Bartlett officiating. Friends may call
after 4 p.m. on Friday, April 26, at the funeral home and again on Saturday for
an hour prior to the service.
Burial will be in Bruce Cemetery.
